Hello Antonio,
I presume that you come from a Windows background, as there is no
repair functionality on Mac OS X. Installation of some Applications
can be very different to Windows. Currently we use the a simple drag
and drop install. This means that OpenOffice.org is a single bundle,
with everything in the same .app (excluding your own user preferences).
The simplest way to upgrade is to drag the new version to the
applications folder. As there is a difference in the name of the two
applications, then you will have 2 different versions of
OpenOffice.org installed at the same time. You can simply drag the
older version to the trash and then empty the trash.

Dear Madam/Sir:
I have been using OpenOffice 2.0 for a while. Now I realized the
existence of a new version, the 2.1. My question is:
How can I desinstall the older version, since the information
provided in the image disk didn´t help me. To go to the
installation program from the the newest version and click repair.
I confess I haven´t see that and I think something is wrong.
*I would be very grateful for your help*
With my compliments, sincerely yours
