Hi Miciah,
Welcome aboard.
We are currently in the run up to the OpenOffice.org 2.2 (X11)
release. I would recommend taking a look at http://qa.openoffice.org/
for information about the QA (testing) process. Taking a look at
issues in the Issue Tracker (there is a link on the left navigation
bar on most of the OpenOffice.org pages), and confirming any issues
would be useful too. To do this you will need to sign up for an
OpenOffice.org user account if you haven't already done so. This will
allow you to comment on issues. You should also join some projects
that you are interested in. To join a project choose "Membership" in
the left navigation bar, make sure that you are logged in, and choose
"Request project role". I would recommend joining both the QA and
porting projects as an observer.
If you need any help please ask on this list
([email protected]), or the [email protected] list if
that is more QA relevant.
You may also wish to get in contact with your Native Language (NL) Team.
If you are any good at web design then you are more than welcome to
help with the web site.
In terms of Aqua, we are currently looking for developers or
builders. We are not far enough through the development to be looking
for testers yet.

Mac Port Team
I would like to join to test out new OS X ports. I honestly don't
have a background in software development, but I can try my best to
utilize the software and describe what issues arrive.
cheers
Miciah
