Hi Jeffrey,
We are always happy to see new testers of OpenOffice.org.
Most of the testing is dealt with through the Quality Assurance (more
commonly known as QA) project.

Please take some time reading the information on the above site.
You can come to either [email protected] or
[email protected] for any help that you need with testing
OpenOffice.org. Please subscribe to both list by sending a mail to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and <dev-
[EMAIL PROTECTED]> so that you are kept up to date with the
current status of things, and be able to send mail to the lists
without them being moderated.
We are currently on the run up to the release of OpenOffice.org 2.2.
The builds for the Mac should be available shortly. Maho will
announce them on this list when they are ready. Several of us will
comence testing of the builds. James McKenzie is responsible for QA
on the Mac platform, primarily concentrating on the en-US version. I
will run through the tests, (and let someone else to analyse the
results). When builds are ready make them available on the Mac
Porting web site.
There are many other people who do testing in other languages. We are
all happy to help. We will primarily communicate through the mailing
lists, IRC, and the Issue Tracker.

I do a fair amount of word-processing on the Mac platform. I would
be willing to assist in test your port of OpenOffice (which I use
on the PC/Linux side) to Mac. I have a iBook with 3/4 gigs of RAM,
1.33 Mhz. Thank you.
