Due to the way that X11 operates, it is not possible to do this at this time.  
However
work has started on the Native version to implement friendlier key 
functionality.  I
can, however, use the META key in place of the Cntrl key due to a X11 setting.

Good to hear you're all on it! While you're at it, is it possible to free up the F1 and F6 and other function keys that OOo assigns in granite to itself? I think it's a valued MS marketing point to say that the OOo user doesn't have free rein on all the function keys.

Interesting.  I'm wondering if font substitution is taking place.

I suspect there's more than that going on because the very same Courier font's used on both programs. Can I e-mail a sample of my NeoO script to import into MacOOo?
