Hi Mox,
Thanks for the fast response. This should be integrated into the next
milestone, so I'll look into it further after the next milestone is
available.
If the OpenOffice.org.app still has the version number in it, then we
will need to continue updating the .DS_Store file. If the naming of
the .app has changed to major version only (OpenOffice.org 2.org.app)
then this will be the last time that we need to update the DS_Store
file.

Shaun,
as you might remember, there has been work to get a long term
solution to
this version issues in place, to avoid patching each and every version
manually.
This is handled by cws macosxversioning01, which is already
integrated (or
at least almost :)

As for the bitmap in the disk image (.DS_Store), I don't know about
if it
works or not. Feel free to update that if necessary.

Hi,
It appears that 680m203 has the new version for the .app filename.
However the Info.plist still has the following entry:
<key>CFBundleGetInfoString</key>
<string>OpenOffice.org 2.2</string>
which is for the older version of OpenOffice.org.
What is the current status of the versioning stuff for Mac OS X in
ooo? Does it still need to be manually updated, or has the automatic
update been made ready for integration?
I have created issue
<http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=74957> to update
the .DS_Store file for OpenOffice.org 2.3. I'll get it done in the
next few weeks.
