Hi Michael,

I've worked on positionning the caret in salatslayout. but it only returns the
position of carets.

I does not make the blinking cursor / caret to show between glyphs.

One time, EricB implemented the invert function and I got the caret (not
blinking) being correctly positionned between the glyphs.

I can t get this configuration working again (refrsh or else problem).

But at the moment, the position of carets are still correct (salatslayout) and
if you move the cursor (without seeing it move) and for example type Enter, you
will see that the line is correctly broken in two lines at the caret position.

So go on if you ant to work on making the cursor/caret blink in the the place
it is actually positionned instead of beginning of line.

I vote for a wrong positionning/refresh in invert function (salgdi.cxx).

Ask me if you have questions about char/glyph/caret positions.

Best regards,

Sebastien
