This statement makes it appear that JDBC is crashing. However, further
statements make it appear that when OpenOffice.org attempts to access
the JDBC bridge, OpenOffice.org immediately crashes without any indication
of a problem. However, there is a place that you can look for any error
information, and that is the Console. It is located in the Utilities
folder, which is a sub-folder of Applications. Please start this program
and then click on the Logs icon if there is not a listing of log files on
the left hand side. Click on the ~/Library/Logs and then CrashReporter.
There should be an item labeled 'soffice.bin.crash.log' Click on this
item and a listing on the right hand side will display the contents of
the crash log file for the soffice.bin file (which is what runs when
you are using OpenOffice.org). You need to look for an entry for the
time that OpenOffice.org crashed and it starts like this:
**********
Host Name: <Your Computer Name here>
Date/Time: 2007-02-10 12:48:02.935 -0700
OS Version: 10.4.8 (Build 8L2127)
Report Version: 4
Command: soffice.bin
Path: ./soffice.bin
Parent: bash [354]
The entry ends with a series of asterisks or the end of the log file. Please
include this with your issue.

Yes, the JDBC will compile. It will not function correctly. I don't have
the code, so I cannot look at it to see what may be causing the problem.

Again, this is interesting. Did you create an issue for this?
something like that maybe :
