Hi Pavel,

I briefly fiddled with Quickstarter code (i.e. enabled it on Mac, one
line change).

The idea was to use that code to enable Mac Aqua OOo to have only
menubar visible (not quitting!) when all the windows are closed.

However, this causes the problem that menus really are empty, when
there's no windows, as you said, and that's not what is supposed to
happen on Mac OS X.

As a side note, when/if we ever fix this, the other OOo legacy feature
should be fixed too: the thing that we can separately close document
area (i.e. the text-writing area), while leaving the rest of the
window open (including toolbars). This is not Mac OS X behaviour

this is caused by the fact that I want do display clean menubar when
the menubar is not defined for the window. Search for FIXME in
salmenu.cxx.
