As I alway recommend to testers: Create/use a seperate user (like "test") for installing test versions and doing tests. This is a fast and simple way to be sure nothing gets confused. And it it also a good way to be sure everything in user dir installs the right way. But a more "secure" installation using your patch is surely a good idea when public testing versions come along because as we know, people normaly tend to don't take themselves five Minutes before installation to read installation hints but easyly have half an hour to write complaints after damage is done ;-) -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Uwe Altmann OpenOffice.org auf dem Mac: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
