Hi,
In the next few weeks, we will be starting to distribute our
development builds of the Aqua version. This will happen after the
CWS aquafilepicker01 has been integrated and the CWS for the Mac OS
X aqua work (aquavcl01) has been resynced to the master after
aquafilepicker01 has been integrated.
We basically need a way to tell the difference between new
development Aqua and the current X11 builds.
good point. Even now, the builds produced by our builds have the same
name - we do not put the platform into the final file name. We should
handle this issue in one go.
Please add me in Cc: for this issue,
For OOo_SRC680_m211_MacOSXIntel_install_en-US.dmg, should we rename to
OOo_SRC680_m211_MacOSXIntel_X11_install_en-US.dmg (X11 ver)
and OOo_SRC680_m211_MacOSXIntel_Aqua_install_en-US.dmg ?
I'm always renaming by hand, and apparently it is not a good habit.
I have been advised by Louis that we need to come to a consensus on
this issue with the whole ooo release team. I can't see a decision
before Tuesday or Wednesday. The naming scheme that we use _requires_
to be compatible with QATrack, the bouncer and p2p distribution
system. Louis and myself have been thinking that a new product in the
name would be the best and easiest way to accommodate with the above
tools.
