I am attempting to use the (Free) Open Office Suite (see www.openoffice.org/ ) that operates under X-11 in my OS X 10.3.9 system.

I perceive a problem with (I think it is) the X-11 directory structure not being the same as the OS X current directory. I notice that the directory of the files under the OOo (Open Office) software seem to refer to a previous version of my OS X system directory and so some of the files are not accessible, that I have recently placed for such things as file updates and figure insertions into an OOo document. Such files cannot be found by the OOo system.

Can anyone tell me how to keep these directories consistent (the directory accessible via OOo (through X-11) - with the OS X directory)? Rebooting does not seem to be effective. Is it an X-11 problem? or an OOo problem?
