I'm divided. Of course, I know this is not the most simple, - the first
steps are often long and painfull too, but from my side, I'd prefer
suggest to start asap with wrappers and :
- avoid intermediate steps;
- start as experimental work and discover asap the difficulties;
- *document* as much as possible as well ( will help us later ).
This is the good period in the year : people will have less pressure to
contribute now ( mainly due to coming holydays ), and can help for the
design.
Damien, and some other -welcome ! - can help a lot investigating for us.
In both cases, the changes must be perfectly adjusted though. Let's
first test both with simple cases, to see ?
