that the @loader_path feature is only available since Mac OS X
10.4. Would that match our baseline?
Aqua is Mac OS X 10.4
With X11 we are trying to keep it compiling on Mac OS X 10.3.9 for as
long as we can, though we do not guarantee that it will work on Mac
OS X 10.3.9.
