Sorry, but nothing has been decided yet about who will provide builds,
and we must discuss the point seriously, not in a hurry :
- Sun is interested to provide builds too, and we must include them in
the loop, and organize.
- provide more than 60 locales is _today_ nonsense : some are not
translated , dont work properly ...etc
- the needed bandwidth is enormous, and you have not , http is prefered
to ftp ..etc
- It could be good for the Mac port to see _other_people_ contributing
for Aqua builds.
(At least invite them would be correct, and for the life of the project,
it is *sane* )
- the build process is *not yet defined*, and when we decided for X11
build, it was clear : one process, BUT several people can provide builds
( afaik, you, Eric Hoch, Pavel Janik and me were proposed for X11
builds, in case of problems).
About provide new builds :
When I discuted with you in private, you told me it was difficult for
you to provide X11 builds, and now, this is easy for you to add another
build ?? What is the current situation ?
If you want to do something for aqua builds, please explain publically,
and come on the IRC meeting : this is for you too.
Things must be clear, well defined (not decided by one people only), and
public
From my side - at this time - I'd prefer see a better QA for the Mac OS
X port.
