Hi,
I'm sorry, but I -very probably - won't be able to attend the meeting
this week. Anyway, I'd like to say (supposing nobody modifies the order) :
Point 1 : new devs, if ever, are welcome :-)
Point 2 : Latest Aqua news / Work in progress
Just add, I'm working on :
- scrollbar issue ( I'll probably redesign hitTestNativeControl() )
- aquaremovefondu cws (Nominated)
- aquaremovescripts cws
FYI, my proposed patch (not sure this is the best solution though) is
available at :
http://eric.bachard.free.fr/mac/aquavcl/patches/aquavcl02_july2007/aquaremovescripts/instsetoo_native_remove_scripts.diff
Point 3 :
We should start partial aquavcl02 integration *now*
- this will save time, and improve our efficiency
- simplify future resync's
Point 4 :
Who does provide builds.
Sun is interested to provide builds, but this is only o project at this
time. The current informations I have from Martin Hollmichel (
Jens-Heiner Rechtien is on vacations) are :
1) decide whether Mac OS X port is a primary platform (not yet the case)
2) Hamburg RE will do also mac builds on regular basis for every milestones
And then : look how and who will provide the builds.
My opinion is: we can decide temporarly, but we'll have to redo later,
to take Sun contribution in count.
From my side I'll continuye to provide unofficial, hacked and whatever
builds.
Of course, I'll read the log.
Regards,
eric bachard
