If you can give me an easy nudge in the right direction I would

Any reasonable question is always welcome here :-)
I am familiarizing myself with the OO environment with the hope
that I can
contribute. I successfully downloaded and built a working (YAY!)
AQUA build
from SRC680_m225 and the Aqua vcl. I felt really great when the
dmg that I
built installed seamlessly into my private (~/Applications) test
app folder.
IF you followed the instructions on the wiki page
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/AquaBuild to the letter,
then you won't have build the SDK and URE.
This is because the configure line includes --disable-odk. Remove
this line and then recompile ooo after doing a dmake clean.
The URE and SDK should be separate disk image available in a similar
location to the the main ooo install disk image.
You will find the URE and SDK that was built by maho at
http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/SRC680_m225/
Hopefully this helps.
Shaun
