I have a powerful compiling computer that has any cycles going to waste.
It's a mac pro 2 core 2 xeon procs with 5 gigs of ram.

Wow, great machine !

If you want to provide us machine cycles, I think you could setup a tinderbox, or a buildbot ? ( Shaun McDonald will provide you more infos )

Another solution could be to do QA tests, using either automated testtool or manual tests.

Yet another possibility very helpfull for us, could be build Aqua versions following the most recent milestones, including/testing some cws.

Please choose one :-)

I run 10.4.10 andwould love to learn more about what you are looking for for the beta
testing, where to file the bug reports etc. Thanks a lot ~Ben

Ok, well, I'd suggest you first to have a look at our AquaBuild wiki page :

http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/AquaBuild

Read, experiment and feel free to ask if something goes wrong.

.. and be welcome on Mac OS X porting project !

Regards,
Eric Bachard

P.S. : you can come and discuss with us on IRC: server irc.freenode.net server: #ooo_macport a good client is colloquy or xchat (prefered ), but some other might be used
