Hi all,

the described behaviour below is 10.5.x and X11 only. Under Tiger
OOo 2.4.0RC2 behaves normal.

While testing the RC2 I discovered that the startscript won't work
for
OOH680_m8 on Mac OS X 10.5.2. Even if you confirm the time-out with
OK OOo won't
start.

The solution to start OOo was using Terminal.app and the following
command

" open "/Applications/OpenOffice.org\
2.4.app/Contents/MacOS/soffice &" "

While OOH680_m4 showed a normal behaviour, OOH680_m8 now shows
something similiar to

stays constant.

This could be a memory leak. But I'm not an expert. Could someone
else running Tiger please confirm this? We should raise an issue
for this and see if this memory leak does any harm or if we can
release even wit this leak since it does no harm but giving some
output in the terminal.

Eric Hoch
