I have moved a database file to an AFP server. Now I am getting this
error, which translates that the connection to the database could not
be made:
I see the lock file in the folder.
When the file is on a local disk, I do not get this file locking
problem. Is this a known problem?
I am getting a bit miffed that the AFP file sharing seems to be in
flux all the time: sometimes it works, most of the time not.
This is a serious show stopper for any implementation of OpenOffice in
large deployments, like schools or universities.
