Hi all,

I have been using the recently released 3.0 beta for OSX with Aqua and I am
impressed by the amount of good work put on it.

Thanks a lot for your test :-) and thanks for the Team :)

As said in the title of this post, I would like to know if there is any plan to
make OpenOffice available for Applescript.

I answer you only today, because I believed someone would have done. If I'm not too wrong, one side effect of accessibility implementation ( nice work from Franck Neumann) will be to make ( no idea the exact possibilities) OpenOffice.org aqua applescriptable.

Franck ? Oliver ? Can you complete me ?

< Perhaps as an extension?

I have not the answer, but I'd like to understand more on this, because have OpenOffice.org Applescriptable, would simply make it more professionnal. Now, what is possible, I don't know exactly.

would be the best solution. One of the reasons I would like to interact with OOo via Applescript is that I would be able to integrate Writer with my favourite bibliographic program BibDesk (open source, only for OSX). But
there would be many other possible uses.

Good idea. Let's wait for someone more close to the thing answer more completely.

I would appreciate your ideas, thoughts and points to relevant info.

Thanks for using OpenOffice.org on Mac OS X !

Regards,
Eric bachard
