Hi,
it sounds really interesting and i would like to add some comments.
- supporting AppleScript is a good idea
- that means for me we should be able to use the office API from
AppleScript (independent of how the office API looks like today -> this
might be a different topic (and should be addressed for all platforms)
- support AppleScript via the existing scripting framework in OO.org ->
at least evaluate it
I wouldn't create a new platform specific API or object model but would
focus on a good integration in the existing UNO environment. If we need
any improvements here in this area we should discuss it and should
evaluate what's possible.

Great!
That will be brilliant and will help a lot to connect OOo to other
applications.
Thanks a lot!

Just a comment on the Port Meeting today -
I have started a wiki page called Mac OS X Porting - AppleScript Support at
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X_Porting_-_AppleScript_Support
Over time I will create a object model in the Mac and AppleScript style,
referring to other products already providing Applescript support and the
OOo SDK for guidance. The design will be documented on the wiki and
contributions are welcome.
At WWDC we (pl, ericb and I) were able to consult with the people who work
on AppleScript at Apple, and they agreed to help us with their comments and
suggestions.
I'll occasionally notify the list of milestones, and of course anyone
interested can subscribe to the wiki page.
Regards,
Mike
