Just as a follow-up:
I downloaded Maho's builds of DEV300_m26, and I see the same behavior
with those that I do with my build. The Java Text examples all beach ball.
SCalc.run spews warnings about the autorelease pool, the other Java
spreadsheet examples actually work. This behavior is actually the same
as what I saw with my own build.
I don't have time to try the cpp examples right now.
If you want me to try some patches or open issues, let me know.
