Hi, again.
I have been playing mostly with the DEV300_ branch, but I'm going to
also build OOO300.
I'm wondering if anyone has any hints for having two different instances
of OO.o installed on the Mac. Last time that I tried this, the default
OO.o seemed to be whichever I had used last.
i am not sure which installation is used in this case.
Also, what file should I patch if I want to keep the configuration
separate?
.../OpenOffice.org.app/Contents/MacOS/bootstraprc
change the entry
UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/OpenOffice.org/3
for exmaple to
UserInstallation=${OOO_BASE_DIR}/../UserInstallation
This way you create a new local user installation in the Content folder
of your office installation. You can use a file URL of your choice to
delegate the user installation to somewhere else.
