Yes, he has retired from Mac port QA representative but as far as I
understood he furthermore reaches a helping hand as his time allows.

An OOo3.0 PPC build you can find here (should be the en-us as far as I
understand the naming):

But remind - this one is not (yet) QA approved. But because there are
some other languages  builds approved for PPC, there is only a slight
chance to run into serious problems :-)

There is a thing called "release test" with clearly defined test cases.
James may perhaps help you better than me to get along (at least you
