Thanks for your fast reply :-) the issue is concerning the location of the "share" folder inside the application package which results in loosing all system wide preferences/installs when updating. http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=101604 Perhaps you may to wish to adapt the component of the issue (or tell me which to choose) Another one: In Impress when an object is linked to a file and user clicks on this object, file will open in foreground so you arre able to work with that file. Pretty handy for explaining a program. But on a mac, the file will open in background and there is no way to bring it to foreground while the presentation is running.
