Core Mac OS X and Unix Programming Class Returns to the Big Nerd Ranch

Atlanta, GA - March 4, 2003 - The Big Nerd Ranch announces the return of
Core Mac OS X and Unix Programming. Core Mac OS X Programming will allow
programmers to harness the power of Mac OS X's Unix foundation.

For the week of March 31 - April 4, 2003, Core Instructor Mark Dalrymple
(http://www.bignerdranch.com/Company/Who.html) will return to the Big Nerd
Ranch. After a successful Core Class in November 2002, the Big Nerd Ranch
has edited and improved the instruction materials to enhance the Core
learning experience.

This class is the only Core offering currently scheduled for 2003. As with
Cocoa classes, the Big Nerd Ranch intensive training methods will guide
students' progress.

Class topics include:

*       Multi-threading
*       Daemons
*       Distributed objects
*       Network programming
*       Rendezvous
*       Performance tuning
*       Advanced debugging techniques
*       The security framework
*       Exception handling

The Big Nerd Ranch offers intensive training classes for Unix and Mac OS X
