Enterprise Edition Software - To Convert FileMaker to MySQL, Oracle,
Sybase, SQL Server, Access and DB2 on MacOS X 10.3 (Panther)

development applications, has released FmPro Migrator 1.48 for MacOS X 10.3
(Panther). This unique application converts FileMaker to MySQL, Oracle,
Sybase, SQL Server, Access and DB2. Improvements with this version include:
-- Compiled as Cocoa Application - FmPro Migrator Enterprise Edition is now
compiled as a Cocoa application thus insuring compatibility with MacOS X
10.3 (Panther). Previously, intermittent issues were observed with the
application causing the Classic environment to be launched since the
application was compiled as a Carbon application. These issues will no
longer occur.
-- SQL Server Migration Script Improvements - The SQL Server database table
name has been corrected within both of the ODBC Perl scripts used for SQL
Server migrations. This table name information no longer requires manual
modification within these two scripts.
-- Perl CGI Script Improvements - Perl CGI scripts generated by FmPro
Migrator now incorporate improvements from version 1.50 of the CGIScripter
application, including:
- Disabling of Auto-Enter field data validation in Submit form processing to
prevent problems with incorrect combinations of features preventing proper
operation of the CGI code.
- Removal of the CGI.pm call to header() before the output of dynamic web
page information upon successful form submission for Submit and Update
validation scripts.
Existing customers holding licenses for FmPro Migrator Enterprise Edition
may upgrade at no charge to this latest revision. Existing customers of the
Lite and STD editions of FmPro Migrator may upgrade to the Enterprise
Edition for the difference in price between the products.
