Hi,

I'm using sshfs to mount a web server file system, and then
OS X Terminal shell to work in the mounted file system,
including editing files with vi.

My Internet connection is via Hughesnet satellite link, which
is fairly good speed at about 1.2 mbps down and 256 kbps up.
Latency is avg. about 450 ms.

So, sshfs has proved to be excellent in terms of editing files,
since the latency would kill me if every character had to go
to the server and back to get displayed.

However, I'm not getting good performance when opening
or saving a file...way too slow. Can anyone recommend what
sshfs command options would help with this performance?
Examples?

thanks,
JC
