Hi

Firstly, thanks for using MacFusion!

In the other person's post to the MacFUSE issues area -- and in
subsequent/related correspondence -- no mention of MacFusion version
numbers. Without such information it can be unexpectedly difficult
for the two communities to:

1) troubleshoot issues of the moment

2) review issues of the past

3) figure out the points at which things may have gone wrong (if
indeed they have gone wrong).

The expressions "recent", "up-to-date" and "new" mean different
things to different people, especially where two or more projects are
involved.

At <http://code.google.com/p/macfusion/wiki/quick> you'll find
quick links to refined lists of MacFusion issues.

At <http://code.google.com/p/macfusion/wiki/quick> under the heading

        A quick fix

we have four basic questions that should be considered when new
issues are added to the list. (I'm as guilty as anyone else of
omitting that basic information from some of my own reports -- still
on a learning curve!)

What's currently _missing_ from beneath that heading

        A quick fix

is a _real-time_ response mechanism that can resolve, de-duplicate or
prioritise the vast majority of major issues on the spot. The good
news is:

* we're fast heading towards offering this level of responsiveness
(subject to availability of project champions etc.) -- not 24/7,
but if you catch us in the right place at the right time, and
if we're not too busy, most issues are very easily understood and
        translated into action points.

In the meantime please, feel free to make comments and additions to
the MacFusion list of issues in our Google Code project area.

Kind regards
Graham
