Hello Macfusers,

I'd like to correct the above common misconception and offer help if you or
another developer would be interested in the topic:

        http://ntfs-3g.org/quality.html#howtotest

NTFS-3G OS X integration is not in the brightest state at the moment from
user friendliness point of view and clearly quite a lot of Mac user would
appreciate some [major] improvement to be able to avoid typing magic hocus
pocus on the command line.

Due to the highly scarce resources, the position of the core NTFS-3G
development on the issue is described at

        http://ntfs-3g.org/support.html#plugandplay

But of course we would happily help any OS X developer in the best way we
can. We did so in the past for all the Linux distributions (over a
hundred), for Paul, the MacPorts, and FINK ports. Paul has also made
available all his past NTFS-3G patches, documents and wrote excellent new
ones in the hope that someone will continue his work:

Best regards,
