I have been struggling with this for a week and hope that someone can
help me out. I am currently running Leopard, while my server
(192.168.2.2) is running Ubuntu server Gutsy with openssh-server
v1:4.6.

I am able to mount my server with the following command:
$sshfs [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/shared ~/mountpoint -o
idmap=user,uid=502,gid=502,umask=0002

However, when I create a new folder through the Mac Finder, I see a
permission set of: drwxr-sr-x. I have tried many different
permutations/combinations of the MacFuse options, but cannot get new
files/folders to have a umask of 0002. Note that when I log into my
server, my umask is automatically set to 0002.

Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong?
