Hello,

I searched this forum, and the wiki on macfuse, etc.
but I see nowhere to disable that

here my problem:
either if a NTFS volume have a volume name defined or not
a -n<space> option always appears in front of this volume name on the
filesystem

ex:
NTFS volume name "iShare"
when the volume mount on OS X on the desktop it shows as "iShare"
but if you look in the info you see "file://localhost/Volumes/-n
%20iShare"
(same on the command line)

if you only read the NTFS partition it's ok it does not cause any
problem
but if you try to write to it you obtain the message
"The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient
privileges for some of the items."

I'm not fully sure how it is related, but if I unmount the disk (but
don't eject it)
and go in the command line I can mount it again with a simple name
(not starting with -n<space>)
and there I can write to it without this error message anymore.
(for ex: ntfs-3g /dev/disk1s2 /Volumes/tmp/)

Note, this maybe caused by a special setup on this external USB disk
which have 2 partitions:
disk1s1: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
disk1s2: NTFS (non primary)

but still is anyone knows a way to remove this -n<space> ?
or maybe this can be filled as a bug ? or enhancement request ?

cheers,
zwetan
