If you are interested in developing MacFUSE-based filesystems in
Objective-C, then the following blog post has links to a tutorial
document and a recent talk I gave on the subject:

http://googlemac.blogspot.com/2008/02/developing-for-macfuse.html

In addition, the head of the tree now builds a MacFUSE.framework that
supports garbage-collection on Leopard and includes BridgeSupport to
aid in bridging to languages such as Ruby and Python. These features
will be in the next release, but you can build you own and use garbage
collection to simplify your Objective-C based file system now.
