http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/wiki/OPTIONS for starters. It's a long time since I dabbled with MacFUSE-oriented NTFS-3G but from what I recall, specifying the option at the command line should not be too complicated :) Beyond Spotlight: elsewhere, http://groups.google.com/group/google- mac-desktop/browse_frm/thread/8db10e364b1836fd?hl=en someone wishes for Windows-oriented volumes to be indexed by _Google Desktop_. At least: from the MacFUSE wiki, be aware of the risks that may be associated with allow_other. Without a fuller understanding of the security implications: I neither recommend, nor caution against, indexing of volumes that are not normally indexed.
