I'm using macfuse to mount a remote UNIX box as root via sshfs. As in I'm using the remote box's root account. However, I can't modify files or write into directories owned by users other than root, which I think I should be able to do. I've tried using the "allow-other" and "allow-root" options to no avail (although I don't see why they'd make a difference anyway).
What am I missing here? webdrive on my windows box mounts the same server with no problems.
