Hi,

I am Csaba Henk who maintains the Python binding for FUSE (

  http://fuse.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/FusePython

).

Bill Janssen reported that the pkg-config based setup.py utility
doesn't work properly with MacFUSE. See this thread:

  http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.file-systems.fuse.devel/6637

He suggests that on OS X setup.py should use hardwired paths instead
of
running pkg-config queries (see the patch he sends within the referred
thread). I find this too hacky and I'm looking for a better solution
(if there
is any...). Can someone here say something clever? (Hmm, how do you
compile
things like sshfs on OS X which also query for FUSE via pkg-config?)

Regards,
Csaba
