Upon mounting a remote volume, the Finder identifies the volume by its HOST. This is not desired.
For example, I have 2 connections which connect via the IP, and they reside on the same host but use different user accounts and mount to different points in the remote file system. When connected, this results to 2 volumes showing the same IP for completely different connections (on the Desktop, and also in the Finder window for my Computer). This is confusing! In the MacFusion Menuitem, these volumes are displayed using the NAME. In Finder, they are displayed using the HOST. It would be better to use the NAME always. Is there a way to make it work like this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
