We've got an ExpanDrive user who is seeing a consistent kernel panic
running OS X 10.4.11 on a G5
He cannot consistently replicate the issue, but sees it frequently
[multiple times per day] only when using ExpanDrive. He's produced the
crash using both MacFUSE 1.7 as well as the 1.9 developer preview. The
logs below are with the latest 1.9.
While whatever is going wrong is quite likely caused by how ExpanDrive
is accessing MacFUSE, I assume you're desirous of a kext that never
panics. We're at a bit of a loss as to how to help this user out and
gain further information, but he seems willing to help.
I'm attaching the panic logs he's sent recently. Can anyone suggest
methods for us to pass to him so we can extract more information from
the panic?
Apart from a MacFUSE issue, I would guess there is a possibility of
bad RAM - but he seems to have issues with nothing else.
Thanks
-Jeff
