Are we saying that the 2.1.3 beta fixes your issue? If yes, can you please do me a favor and try one more time with the 2.0.1 Release and confirm that it indeed goes back to being slow? You don't have to reboot. Just unmount all MacFUSE volumes, uninstall the beta, disable betas, and reinstall the release version.
