Dear All

I am a novice user. I just installed MacFUSE and SSHFS, i got it to
work (and it is great!) to connect to my home directory at work.

I have an issue that i would like to solve, i hope someone can help.
My home dir at work is on a server, the server is accessible form
outside the firewall. But, my computer at work is behind the firewall.
generally i can ssh to my home dir form outside the network and then
once i have a shell open i can ssh (again) to my machine, because i
have now passed the firewall. something like this:

(1) from my home computer
ssh [email protected]

(2) once i have the shell open on the server at work i can ssh to my
work computer.
ssh [email protected]

i would like to be able to access the files on my local machine using
MacFUSE directly form home. is there a way to do this? i could not
find any.

thank you!
–F

PS regarding an independent issue: i have noticed also that after i
umount a MacFUSE drive on my desktop i have to click on the desktop
before i can drag the file to the trash to complete the unmount. this
is a bit annoying if you want to script the umount process (i was
trying to create an alias that would do the job from command line but
i could not get it to work for this reason).
