I've already submitted a bug report with Truecrypt, but as this issue
only happens with the OS X version and that requires MacFUSE, I
thought it might be a good idea to post about it here too.

I have a 1TB external which I encrypted with Truecrypt 6.1a in XP. It
mounts fine there, but in OS X it will only mount if I use FAT32. And
with a disk this size I'd rather not have to use FAT32 if at all
possible. With NTFS I get a hdiutil error about no mountable
filesystems when I try to mount it. If I opt to mount it without
mounting the filesystems, I can then see what's happening in Disk
Utility.

It shows the volume.dmg that Truecrypt uses and it's correctly
reported as 931GB. However, it shows that this volume contains TWO
partitions: the first is 811.6GB and the other 259.4GB. Obviously
that's incorrect.

I've tried with the Truecrypt-bundled version of MacFUSE (1.7) as well
as 2.0.3.2 and now 2.1.4 and the issue remains. I've also tried over
firewire and usb and the outcome is the same.

Does anyone have any ideas?
