Here's a brief summary of the issue I'm having:

I'm connecting (using Macfusion via Macfuse) to my windows xp pc from
my
macbook. I can successfully mount my windows sftp home folder on my
macbook.

If I create a new folder on my macbook and drag that folder (using
finder) to my mounted drive to copy it into my home directory (on my
windows box), everything works fine and the folder is successfully
copied.

However, if I create a 'file' on my macbook and do the same thing
(using finder), I get a file I/O error and the file won't copy (most
likely due to acl / extended attributes issues?)

Even more interesting, if I use the terminal (using the 'cp' command)
to do the same thing, everything works (i.e., I can successfully copy
a file from my macbook to my windows pc through my mounted drive using
macfuse and macfusion).

What on earth is going on? Why does it work through terminal and not
through finder? Also, why can I move a folder through both finder and
terminal, but only a file through terminal???

Any ideas?

I use only the '-o defer_permissions' flag in the 'extra options'
field for the macfusion interface, which seems to be necessary in my
case (otherwise I can't browse any of my subfolders on my windows box
when the drive is mounted).

Thanks in advance.
