Dear All I am having strange 3 issues with MacFuse. Please help me.
Server: Linux Fedora 1) When I upload files with -o noappledouble option, files sizes become 0 bytes. As you see, ONLY txt file has the correct file size. 0 -rw-r--r-- 1 nizzy users 0 Mar 20 15:06 test_mf.gif 0 -rw-r--r-- 1 nizzy users 0 Mar 20 15:06 test_mf.jpg 0 -rw-r--r-- 1 nizzy users 0 Mar 20 15:06 test_mf.php 0 -rw-rw-r-- 1 nizzy users 0 Mar 20 15:06 test_mf.rtf 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 nizzy users 341 Mar 19 14:29 test_mf.txt 2) When I upload files withOUT -o noappledouble option, files sizes are OK, however it creates Apple double files on the server. 4 -rwx------ 1 nizzy users 4096 Mar 20 15:14 ._test_mf.gif* 4 -rwx------ 1 nizzy users 1631 Sep 12 2008 test_mf.gif* 4 -rwx------ 1 nizzy users 4096 Mar 20 15:14 ._test_mf.jpg* 12 -rwx------ 1 nizzy users 10849 Sep 12 2008 test_mf.jpg* 4 -rw-rw-r-- 1 nizzy users 308 Mar 19 14:17 test_mf.php 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 nizzy users 4096 Mar 20 15:14 ._test_mf.rtf 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 nizzy users 341 Mar 19 14:29 test_mf.rtf 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 nizzy users 341 Mar 19 14:29 test_mf.txt 3) File permissions are all different for each file type. I am not sure this is normal or not, but in the case #1, php has 644, in the #2, php has 664. This "nizzy" user has umask 0002 (664) in the .bashrc file. I like to upload files withOUT Apple double files.
