MacFUSE provides the FUSE API via C, I've used it with an FS that
compiles and runs against both OS's. Keep in mind that Mac != Linux,
so things may not always behave the same way you think they should
behave from from either operating system but if you're only after
something incredibly simple you should have little issues getting up
and running.
