Who told you that MacFUSE would make your NTFS drive writable?
MacFUSE doesn't do anything by itself... it provides the development 
frameworks and kernel modules that are needed to develop file systems in 
userspace using the cross platform FUSE and Mac-specific MacFUSE API:s.
