I have been using automounted sshfs directories for a couple of weeks.
Today I noticed:

9/11/09 11:21:10 AM KernelEventAgent[40] tid 00000000 received VQ_DEAD
event (32)
9/11/09 11:21:14 AM KernelEventAgent[40] tid 00000000 received VQ_DEAD
event (32)
9/11/09 11:21:19 AM /System/Library/CoreServices/coreservicesd[72]
removing dropped transaction for -102,etrepress.com
9/11/09 11:21:26 AM /System/Library/CoreServices/coreservicesd[72]
removing dropped transaction for -102,.ssh

I happened to be logged into the server and watched as all my files
were deleted.

I manually did a umount and it didn't seem to take so I tried it
again. It didn't take because the mount was still being accessed (my
files were being deleted).

Has anyone seen this before? Or know what causes it? Or know how to
prevent it in the future?

I just did a test and it doesn't seem to be happening anymore. But the
idea that the OS is going to go behind you and delete all your files
is just scary.

Thanks
