VMWare Fusion installed MacFUSE. After a crash (ran out of battery,
I'm pretty sure), Leopard won't boot now, but the last message
displayed in Verbose Mode is "MacFUSE: starting . . ."

So, how do I tell whether MacFuse successfully loads or the program
after it is what isn't loading? I see there is a debug option for
MacFUSE, but I don't know how to enable it. :)

I'm new to OS X and don't know how to do much in the shell, such as
manage startup programs (as I do in other *nixes).

I'd grab the MacFUSE .dmg and search for docs, but I don't know if I
can ifconfig either the ether or the WiFi in single-user mode. Bleh.

Thanks for any help!
