I installed MacFuse on my new computer not knowing exactly what it was. Now I have decided that it is a fine program but way beyond what I understand or want to do. To bridge my move from Windows to Mac I installed VMFusion to load my old computer onto the new one until I get comfortable on the new system and have time to migrate the data. So I tried to remove it by doing what I read on this blog but it won't go away. I went to the MacFUSE button in System Prefs and did the right click thing to get the Remove MacFUSE. That removed the Icon from System Prefs. Then I deleted remaining ICONS on the screen.
Cool, I thought. Then I opened System Prefs to insure that it was gone. The Icons that I deleted on the screen popped back up. I can't find any way to make them stop coming back after I remove them to the trash. I also get the word DISCONNECT when I try to move them to the trash even when I am not using the virtual machine or any other program on the Dock. What's to do? madcitytraveler, eep --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
