I never got much (well any, except your email) feedback on my macfuseinmemory code. But I did move forward on the project. Starting with the macfuseinmemory code I now have a backend for the filesystem that syncs to simpletext.ws. You can learn a bit more about this client and try it out here: http://groups.google.com/group/writeroomiphone/browse_thread/thread/e0564c044855e5b3 I guess for now just try it out and see what you think. Then if you see some work that you'd like to do to make it better let me know. I'm not sure yet if I want to open source the SimpleText mac client or not. I've open sourced the server, so it probably makes sense to just open source the whole thing. But while not rocket science, my client side sync logic is kinda my big selling point for WriteRoom.iPhone. So I'm still trying to decide on the client code.
