Hi,
I've been using MacFUSE for a long time now, and never had any issues
with it.
But, since somewhere last week, I keep getting Kernel panics, which I
believe are caused by MacFUSE. (I could be wrong of course).
Hoping someone here will be able to help me.
I get kernel panics daily now, sometimes 3-4 times a day.
I have about 20 EncFS volumes mounted simulateously, and VMWare
Fusion2 running (which I believe uses MacFUSE as well). Spotlight is
enabled on the EncFS volumes.
EncFS mount parameters:
encfs --extpass=$extPass "/data/test" /Volumes/encfs/Test -- -o local
-o volname=Test -o volicon=/Users/kclement/encfs.ico -o allow_other
This is my work MacBookPro15 (unibody) with OS X 10.5 Leopard, other
colleagues have the same setup without issues. I use it for work, so
testing a few days without the mounts/VMware is not really an
option...
Out of the blue, I get kernel Panics, (multilingual screen telling me
to hold the button power down).
Is this caused by MacFUSE? If so, is this a known bug? Any way to fix
it?
If you have any idea for something that could help me, I'd be really
appreciated.
